Starting the day seeing there is a new post on The Green Chapel is like receiving a positive bolt of energy and encouragement, Gideon, and your comment on this being something you can do- giving words, however falteringly- is a very real blessing. I’m going to carry around with me today the words “There is so much shimmering around you well within your reach”. Thank you again. I’m off to find some of that shimmering and do some of those things you write about in verse 4. - and try a bit of bravery and tenderness.

Thank you so much for this Gideon, I really needed to connect with your thoughts this evening. Yes, I get overwhelmed at times by the world’s problems but tonight it was by a church meeting; I’m sure you can imagine the scene. But this thought came to me - or was it a word? ‘Don’t worry, I had just as much trouble from the 12. Matthew and Judas arguing about money, Luke needing to write it all down…’ some would say my thoughts are irreverent but they cheered me up anyway.

But your thoughts and words are so beautiful, they make me cry and laugh at the same time!

I have to confess that I haven’t read your last three posts yet as I’ve been so busy, but term is nearly finished and then I will catch up!

Sending love and good wishes as well as my heartfelt thanks for all your posts.

Bless your voice, and your words. Heart food (courage food), a reminder to let our breathing be open and free.

Yes, Duke, but it’s always beginning again too. (You must be feeling better. )

And thank you, Ken. I have read this over and over again. And forwarded it to family and friends. It is healing.
